NOSM University’s Sudbury campus closed Monday, March 31, 2025
Due to poor driving conditions from the winter storm affecting Sudbury, NOSM University’s campus in Sudbury is closed today. The Thunder Bay campus remains open. Any changes to academic programming will be communicated directly to learners, faculty, and standardized patients by the program staff. For the most up to date information, please check your email, nosm.ca or follow NOSM University on social media @thenosm. Staff are expected to continue working from home, as many are already doing so under the Alternate Work Arrangement program. CampMed applications now open at NOSM University
Volunteers and campers are encouraged to apply early. Applications for NOSM University’s 20th annual CampMed are open. This immersive summer program provides high school students in Northern Ontario and other rural and remote communities with a unique opportunity to explore medicine and health sciences through hands-on learning and mentorship. The program aims to inspire the next generation of health-care professionals, particularly those from underserved regions.
