Information for Faculty

How do I log in to Elentra?

You can log in directly through the NOSM University Elentra site using your NOSM U credentials.

I forgot my password. Who should I contact?

If you need assistance resetting the password associated with your NOSM University credentials, please call the NOSM University IT Helpdesk:

The Helpdesk is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.

How do I trigger an Assessment?

You can trigger an assessment directly from your dashboard. Please see our online training module for step-by-step instructions for NOSM University’s Family Medicine and Royal College Programs.

I am missing an assessment form for one of my residents. What should I do?

First attempt to clear your filters to ensure that the preferences for your last dashboard search are not still applied.

If you have not received an assessment form to complete by the end of the rotation period (final ITARs) or by the end of the day (triggered EPAs) please contact pge.evalandassess@nosm.ca. Please include the following information in your email:

  • Resident name
  • Rotation/Block information or EPA form name
  • In the case of an EPA, also include the date the form was initially triggered

I received an assessment form in error. Who should I contact?

Please contact pge.evalandassess@nosm.ca as soon as possible so that the correct form can be delivered to your account or redirected accordingly.

How do I complete my assessment tasks in Elentra?

All pending assessments can be viewed under Assessments & Evaluations once you log in to Elentra. The following video offers further instruction to assist with navigating the Assessments & Evaluations page and accessing and completing your pending assessment forms.

I would like to give my SAC access to Elentra. Can this be arranged?

Unfortunately, this functionality is not currently available for our Postgraduate Programs. Any updates in this regard will be communicated directly to your Program.

I would like to schedule additional Elentra training. How can I arrange this?

My assessment form went to the wrong preceptor. What should I do?

If you have learned that your assessment form was delivered to the incorrect preceptor please contact pge.evalandassess@nosm.ca as soon as possible. Please include the following information in your email:

  • Rotation
  • Block(s)
  • Correct preceptor name

I have pending Evaluations under my “Assessment Tasks”. How do I complete these forms?

Please review the following online module for further information on completing Academic, Rotation, and Clinical Faculty Evaluations. If you have any questions please contact us at pge.evalandassess@nosm.ca.

I have a delegation task listed under my “Assessment Tasks”. How do I distribute these forms to my preceptors?

Delegation tasks may be delivered to your account based on your rotation schedule. It is important to remember to distribute these forms to ensure that you receive timely feedback from your preceptor(s).

Rotation-specific instructions will be delivered to your NOSM U email at the beginning of each rotation that requires you to complete a delegation task.

Where can I check to see if my preceptor has completed my assessment forms?

You can view your completed assessments under your CBME Dashboard or the Assessment & Evaluation page. The following video offers further information to assist with navigating these pages.

How do I log my attendance in Elentra for mandatory academic events?

It is important to remember to log your attendance for all mandatory academic events.

Please use the Logging attendance to academics module to guide you through this process.

How do I log RaTs?

Check with your Program to confirm the requirements for this process. Once confirmed, further instruction can be found in the Logging Residents as Teachers module.

I need to review my logbook entries. Where can I find this information?

NOSM University Postgraduate Programs currently using the Elentra Logbook include Anesthesia, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. Further information on navigating the Experience Logbook can be found here.

Who should I contact for further assistance?
