Cherie Kok was born and raised in Thunder Bay and understands the importance of NOSM University to train and keep health-care professionals in the North. Cherie brings with her more than 15 years of non-profit management experience. Cherie holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development.

Jennifer joined NOSM University in June 2018 and has spent the last six years working closely with the Health Sciences program. She is excited to transition into her new role in Advancement, where she is eager to grow her career and contribute to enhancing fundraising efforts and strengthening alumni relations.
Before her time at NOSM U, Jennifer worked for 15 years as a Registered Massage Therapist in private practice. In 2015, she shifted her career focus and began working as the Community Engagement and Outreach Assistant for the local Member of Parliament. Throughout her career, Jennifer has been passionate about fostering positive relationships with community partners and health professionals, and she is thrilled to continue this work in her new role at NOSM University.

Kristen is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional in the field of Philanthropy; with her previous work at the TBRHSF she has experience in campaign management, fundraising initiatives, and understands the importance of fostering donor relationships and engaging the community.
Eager to expand her expertise, Kristen is passionate about learning new skills and strategies to enhance fundraising efforts and drive meaningful impact. She is excited to be a part of the NOSM team and to support philanthropic goals that foster growth, innovation, and positive change within our region.
