The mission of Faculty Affairs is to provide leadership, supervision, and representation for the faculty members of NOSM University to ensure that we always have the teaching resources to provide the highest quality educational experience for learners, while building the capacity and commitment of teaching resources in the North.
Faculty Affairs is responsible for the recruitment, scheduling, and evaluation of faculty members as well as the promotion, integration, and mentoring of faculty members.
The Faculty Affairs portfolio is comprised of three divisions –Clinical Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Human Sciences – that form the basis of the curriculum delivered at NOSM U.
Faculty members are an integral part of our School, its mission, and vision. Working together, we are driving innovative education and research, to provide better health outcomes for Northern Ontarians.
