Revolutionising telemedicine, one consult at a time
Since its introduction in Canada in 2018, the teledermatology platform DermaGo.ca has seen a huge success. This technological tool created by a Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) alumnae is innovative and is changing the practice of medicine in order to provide improved access to specialized care to Canadians across the country. NOSM strengthening roots in Thunder Bay
Earlier this week, Dr. Sartia Verma, Dean, President and CEO of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), hosted the first in a series of consultations on the future of NOSM. NOSM Recognizing National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
In June 2021, the federal government passed legislation to make September 30 a federal statutory day of remembrance called National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. To observe this day of reflection, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) will be closed to provide the NOSM community with an opportunity to reflect on reconciliation and participate in community events.
