Fifty Family Physicians across Northern Ontario Celebrated by Patients 

Fifty physicians across Northern Ontario have been honored by the Ontario College of Family Physicians. Of those recognized, 36 are NOSM University faculty members. As part of the Life with a Doctor campaign by the Ontario College of Family Physicians, Ontarians were asked to share how their family doctor has gone above and beyond for them. The response was “overwhelming and heartfelt.”     Family doctors are an essential part of the health-care system. Two Northern Ontario communities share successes with recruitment

Sault Ste. Marie and Sioux Lookout are great places to work—and the word is getting out Dr. Mara Boyle didn’t originally think that her career would lead her to family medicine—or to Sioux Lookout.
