Beth Griffin
Posted on June 26, 2024After graduating from the University of Guelph’s applied human nutrition program in 2020, Beth took a two-year break to work in emergency food aid for children in the GTA. This helped her to make a meaningful decision to change her career path and pursue dietetics. Beth successfully completed the Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program in 2023, a decision that has proven immensely rewarding. Her favourite memories included the spring academic session, her practise-based project and all of the connections she made throughout her placements. She began her career at Health Sciences North, where she gained valuable experience in oncology and ICU. Currently, she is excited to be part of Hamilton Health Sciences’ innovative Extensive Needs program, focusing on children with complex medical, developmental, and social needs.
