Donor Funded Awards and Bursaries

NOSM University is fortunate to have so many dedicated individuals and organizations who have made generous donations towards various awards and bursaries. These funds help ease the financial burden of students and, in turn, help improve the health of the people of Northern Ontario by allowing students to focus more on becoming great medical practitioners.

The Barrick Gold Corporation ‐ Hemlo Mine Bursary recipient would be a NOSM University learner who has an interest in establishing a practice in a Northern rural community with preference given to a learner whose roots are from Marathon.
