Three NOSM faculty members have contributed to the recently published Indigenous Research: Theories, Practices and Relationships. This edited collection provides readers with concrete and in-depth examples of how to overcome the challenges of Indigenous research with respect to Indigenous worldviews, epistemologies and ontology. In keeping with NOSM’s mission to improve the supply of physicians in Northern Ontario, the School partnered with the North West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), the North East LHIN and HealthForceOntario (HFO) Marketing and Recruitment Agency to host Summit North: Building a Flourishing Physician Workforce.
