The Northern Ontario School of Medicine's (NOSM) is pleased to announce the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), which accredits Physician Assistant (PA) programs in Canada, has recently undertaken the inaugural accreditation review of the PA program and has accorded accreditation status as of December 2011. NOSM Celebrates Milestone Achievement for First Royal College of Physician’s and Surgeon’s Residency Program

On June 24, 2012, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) celebrated the completion of training of the School's first Public Health and Preventive Medicine resident, Dr. Janet DeMille. DeMille, who will be working out of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, is also the first resident to complete a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon's residency at NOSM.
