Dr. Katie Anderson named NOSM University’s new Program Director, Psychiatry

NOSM University announces Dr. Katie Anderson as the incoming Program Director, Psychiatry Residency Program, effective June 1, 2024.

An alumna of the MD and Psychiatry Residency programs and an Assistant Professor, Dr. Anderson has a long track record with NOSM University.

Currently, she provides outpatient psychiatric care in Thunder Bay and other communities served by St. Joseph’s Care Group, where she has also served as Medical Director of Community Mental Health. Her practice includes the provision of virtual psychiatric services to underserved populations across Northern Ontario. Additionally, she is a Regional Clinical Lead for Mental Health and Addictions at Ontario Health North.
