Dr. Gautam Kumar named NOSM University’s new Program Director of Pediatrics

Dr. Gautam Kumar is the incoming Program Director, Pediatric Residency Program at NOSM University effective July 1, 2024. 

A consultant pediatrician who has been practicing in Sudbury for the last 14 years, Dr. Kumar is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Pediatric Residency and MD programs.  

Dr. Kumar has held the position of Chief of Pediatrics at Health Sciences North since 2019. He has been an Assistant Professor at NOSM University since 2010. During this time, he has been heavily involved in the pediatric residency training program, including spending six years as a member of the competence committee.
