This site is designed to help you navigate the transition to residency and help answer some questions you may have about starting a surgical residency at NOSM University. The Surgical Foundations program provides surgical residents from General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology with the knowledge, experience and skills to allow residents to excel as senior surgical residents. Acquisition of the required knowledge and technical skills occurs in a rich and diverse learning environment through various clinical rotations, weekly academic sessions, technical skill labs and a yearly surgical bootcamp.
For more information about the program, please do not hesitate to contact us. I look forward to welcoming you at NOSM University.
